Vonrel is a product operated by Lunaris AI (“Vonrel”, “we”, “us”). We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights.
Vonrel provides an AI voice platform that places outbound calls to job candidates on behalf of our customers (recruiters and recruitment agencies). Where we handle information about candidates, we generally do so as a service provider acting on our customers’ instructions; our customer is responsible for their own privacy obligations to those candidates.
From customers and website visitors:
About candidates (uploaded by our customers):
We collect technical identifiers automatically; other information is provided by you or by our customers. We do not seek to collect sensitive information unless you choose to share it.
We use personal information to:
Our platform uses AI to transcribe calls and extract structured information that helps our customers screen candidates. These outputs are tools for our customers; hiring decisions are made by the customer, not automatically by Vonrel. If you would like to understand or query information extracted from a call, contact us and we will assist or refer you to the relevant customer.
Our customers determine who is called and are responsible for having a lawful basis to make those calls, including compliance with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth), the Do Not Call Register Act 2006 (Cth), and any applicable telemarketing rules. If you received a call and wish to opt out, you can tell the agent during the call or contact us using the details below.
We share personal information with trusted service providers who help us run the platform, under agreements that require them to protect it. These include:
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information where required by law.
Some of our service providers store or process data outside Australia (for example in the United States or the European Union). Where we disclose personal information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled consistently with the APPs.
We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, after which we delete or de-identify it. Customers can request deletion of candidate data they have uploaded.
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against misuse, loss, and unauthorised access, including encryption in transit, access controls, and tenant isolation. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
You may request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you (APP 12 and APP 13). Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable period. If the information was provided by one of our customers, we may direct your request to them.
If you have a privacy concern, please contact us first at [email protected] and we will work to resolve it. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
